Breakfast sets the tone for your eating that day. It is important to have something filling, nutritious, and for busy parents, something quick. These Apple Strawberry Breakfast Bars (or muffins depending on how you make them) and easy to make, store well in the fridge, and can even be frozen for a quick heat-up. You get everything you need to start your day: fruit, protein, healthy carbs, and prebiotics.

An important aspect of these bars is the prebiotics. It is often overlooked how important prebiotics are in your diet for a healthy gut. An increase in bad bacteria in your gut can lead to increase weight. For these bars I used Prebiotin Weight Management that is comprised of Inulin and Oligofructose fibers that are naturally occurring and helps healthy bacteria survive in your gut. The higher fiber levels in the Weight Management formula helps keep you full longer, cutting down on the snacking. There are many other ways to add Prebiotin to your diet if you want a healthy gut and good bacteria, check them out here to learn more.
